The Louis Vuitton x Supreme “Apollo” Backpack was released as part of the culture-shifting collaboration between the Parisian luxury fashion house and streetwear’s hottest brand. Having spent two decades riffing on high fashion designs - and even catching a cease and desist letter from Louis Vuitton in 2000 after they lifted LV’s famed Monogram print and slapped it on a skateboard - Supreme joins forces with their equal in the luxury world for an opulent collection of clothes, sneakers, and accessories. The collaborative “Apollo” backpack in Monogram camo replaces standard-issue coated canvas seen on the mainline product for a new jacquard material. Other key design elements include a top handle, a cowhide leather trim, metallic gold hardware, an adjustable shoulder strap, and an external zipped front pouch which features subtle Supreme in the form of a sewn-in leather patch. The Louis Vuitton x Supreme “Apollo’ Backpack was released in 2017.
